ᒪᐢᑭᐦᑭᕀ maskihkiy wellness honours the cycle of life: spirits both coming in from & returning to the stars. from birth to death & everything connected in between, we have supports to accompany you along the way.

pregnancy loss, trauma, & (re)birthing

pregnancy loss and trauma during birth can be incredibly painful experiences. we have team members who specialize in supporting parent(s) & families when an incoming spirit returns to the stars. this may include counselling, cultural supports, or a combination of both, including simple personal ceremonies families can do to help during this time. our team medium can support communication with the ones who returned to the stars as well, if desired.

our team members specialize in trauma, and also offer counselling and/or (re)birthing ceremonies that support in healing following traumatic experiences of birth and loss.

land-based supports for pregnancy, birth, post-partum & parenting

birth is a significant ceremony, the transition of spirit into a physical body & life on this earth. for millennia, people have birthed in ceremony, with plant & earth medicines to support the process. the perinatal time is a time of transformation for the parent(s) as well, often bringing up challenging emotions as one prepares for, experiences, & adjusts after birthing. our team includes traditional iyiniw (Indigenous) birthworkers, therapists, and kihtehayak (Elders) who can help you through this journey. while we do not offer in-person birthing support at this time (i.e., birth doulas), we welcome you to bring doulas, family members, or other birth and post-partum supports to your session(s) to learn along with you.

wholistic support

from counselling to cultural supports to traditional birthworkers and herbalists, our team can offer a variety of resources to support you during this time.

caregiving & end-of-life

supporting caregivers & honouring end-of-life transitions

rooted in ancient wisdom, we understand death as an inevitable part of the cycle of life. globally, iyiniwak (Indigenous peoples) have always had intricate rituals around honouring a spirit's return to the stars. in contemporary times, where many people do not have access to collective rituals & communal healing, end-of-life, grief, and loss can be deeply painful. whether accessing counselling, cultural supports, or wholistic practitioners such as death doulas or our medium who can communicate with those who've gone on, our team is here to support you during this transition. we are also available to support caregivers who are looking after loved ones with health issues.

wholistic supports

our kihtehayak (Elders), wholistic practitioners, and therapists are available to support you and your family during this significant transformation/transition.
